Ladies, you are cordially invited to Bear Valley Church’s annual Christmas Tea, “A Keepsake Christmas.”   This year there will be two teas, one on Friday, Dec. 7, at 6 p.m. and the second on Saturday, Dec. 8, at 11 a.m..  The guest speaker at both teas will be Alice Gray and our special musical guest is Lynne Henning.

Alice Gray is an inspirational conference speaker at a variety of community and Christian events across the United States. She has served as a leader in women's ministries for more than twenty years and has held the role of advisor and teacher for a number of Bible study groups.

Alice is best know as the creator and compiler of the best-selling Stories for the Heart books and has received various publishing awards including the Evangelical Christian Publishers Gold Book Award, the Retailers Choice Award, and two Angel Awards for excellence in media. She is a frequent guest on Christian radio and television shows.

In addition to the Stories for the Heart series, Alice is co-compiler of the popular Lists to Live by book series. Two recent books, co-authored with Dr. Steve Stephens, are The Worn Out Woman — When Your Life is full and Your Spirit is Empty and The Walk Out Woman—When Your Heart Is Empty and Your Dreams Are Lost.

Her two newest books are Treasures for Women Who Hope and A Keepsake Christmas.

Using a golden medley of tender stories, creative ideas, and treasured insights from scripture, Alice shares how to fill your Christmas with keepsake memories.
Tickets for this event will be available on Sundays between services (8:15 a.m., 9:45 a.m. or 11:15 a.m.) at Bear Valley Church in the lobby or can be reserved by phone 972-4860.  Tickets are $18 each and are non-refundable.
