0 responses 0 comments Tompkins Elementary held its annual Oral Language Festival Thursday, Nov. 29. Over 50, 4th and 5th grade students participated in one of the 5 categories of competition. The First Place winners included Seth Walsh and Kendra Bunn in Duo Humorous, Fallon Bock and Kylee Blackburn in Duo Serious, Hannah-Rose Miles in Solo Serious, Brooke Saisia in Solo Humorous, and Emily Crowe, Hannah Holmes, and Kalie Muro in Verse Choir. These 9 students went on to compete in the district competition held in Golden Hills Elementary on Dec. 3. We appreciate the hard work all participants put into memorizing and interupting their selections, and we gratefully thank Carin Reddig and Nancy Grecian for judging our school competition.
