0 responses 0 comments Agnes was born on Oct. 15, 1928 in San Antonio, Texas, to Moses and Edna Felan. Agnes lived in California most of her life. At a young age she met and married Joseph Ubaldo Garcia, a marriage that blossomed for 59 years. They married on May 30, 1945 in Yuma, Ariz. They were inseparable and they had a special kind of love that was truly blessed by God.
The special times in Agnes’s life were spent with her family. She enjoyed visits from her children and doted on her grandchildren, often packing her house with “goodies” as she called them prior to their arrival. She enjoyed cooking and homemaking. She was an excellent homemaker and caretaker. Most of all she loved spending time with the love of her life Joseph. It wasn’t uncommon to find them watching The Price is Right or a friday movie pick from Blockbuster. Wherever he was, she was.
Agnes is survived by her children, sons, Frank Joseph Garcia and wife Rachel of Ontario; and Michael William Garcia and wife Frances of Tehachapi; daughter Dolores “Cookie” Marie Ellis of Santa Clarita; grandchildren, Mark, Robert, Andrea, Justin, Shannon, Stacey, and Jessica; 7 great-grandchildren and one due in February and several life long friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Ubaldo Garcia, on July 4, 2004.
Deacon Clyde Davis officiated at the service. Wood Family Funeral handled the arrangements.
