As we all celebrated the birth of Christ and thanked the Lord for his precious gift - his son, Jesus, the Lord chose to take our precious “Angel Baby,” Cierra Angelique Redenius, Christmas night, Dec. 25, 2007.
Because of our faith, we knew it was Cierra’s time to go back to be with her Lord Jesus in heaven. We all have a purpose in life and if it’s our time to go, God only knows. We may have fulfilled our purpose or sometimes God uses others to be an example. I know God loves us all and he must love the Redenius family and knew we would, in time, understand all the broken pieces one day. God has kept his promise. We will all spend eternity with him, by simply believing in him. This world is temporary, yet we thank God for the eighteen years he gave us with Cierra. We must stay strong, praise God and live the rest of our days like there is no tomorrow.
All that knew Cierra couldn’t help but instantly like her. She was a very special person. Not only was she beautiful, she had a beautiful heart. She gave that heart and shared it with many. We will forever remember her laugh and big smile. She was a happy, fun loving girl.
Before Cierra had been taken, she blessed us all with a gift to remember always. She spoke to her father, Rod saying “She’d be home soon,” and that she “loved him,” she expressed to her mother, DeAnn, “It didn’t matter what Christmas gifts she received, for she already had everything in her life that she could possibly want.”
She spent the whole day snowboarding with her brother, Cory, friends, John and Nic and her boyfriend, Kelly. She had expressed, “She was having so much fun.” She called her best friends, Elayna and Kelsey, wishing one a “Merry Christmas,” and the other making lunch plans at her favorite restaurant, Kasagiri.
She spent the night giggling and tickling her 3-year-old brother, Broc, waking up with him Christmas morning shouting, “Go wake up mommy and daddy, so we can open our gifts!”
Cierra you left us lasting memories that we will always cherish. You are and will always be a big part of our lives, until we see your beautiful face again in eternity.
Cierra attended Career Care Institute, taking the LVN nursing program. On Christmas break she stated she loved school and enjoyed her instructor because she made school fun.
She also worked at Bottoms Up Tanning Salon. She loved to work and loved all her co-workers. She always said she had a cool boss. Cierra was a hard worker. She went to school four days a week in Lancaster and worked the other three days. She didn’t complain, because she loved what she did.
