Tehachapi Congress of Republicans will hold its monthly meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 19 at the new La Quinta Inn (formally the Travelodge Motel) 500 Steuber Road and East Tehachapi Blvd.

Guest speaker, Brian Todd,  Senior Vice President of WPR Builder Services, a government and community affairs management firm serving builders and developers “from entitlement to final inspection,” formed in October, 2007 with Mark Abernathy, one of California’s premier political strategists. WPR Builder Services is a subsidiary of Western Pacific Research, Inc., the successful political consulting firm Abernathy founded in 1985.

Mr. Todd draws on a lifelong experiences in political activism, issue advocacy and campaign strategy. He has worked on numerous campaigns, beginning with his father’s 1966 run for Mayor of Fremont, Calif.

Todd will discuss property rights and eminent domain as it pertains to local home and land owners.
