Former Tehachapi resident, Evelyn Bush passed away on Sunday, Feb. 20, 2008 at her home in Clovis, Calif. She was 94. Services were held on Feb. 13 at the First Baptist Church of Tehachapi with interment following at Tehachapi Public Cemetery - Eastside. Reverend Jerry McCullah presided over the services.

Evelyn was born in Hamilton, Ala. on Aug. 27, 1913 to parents Franklin and Arvilla Williams. She graduated from Checotah High School in Checotah, Okla. On April 4, 1959 she married Clinton Arthur Bush. 

Mrs. Bush is survived by her husband of 48 years, Clinton, of Clovis; sons, Carroll Killingsworth, Tom Killingsworth, Mike Killingsworth and Wayne Bush, of Clovis; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Kermit Williams of Oktaha, Okla. and sisters, Blanche Brandon, of Checotah, Okla. and Maxine Smith, of Tehachapi.

Wood Family Funeral Service, Inc. handled the arrangements.

Corrections to obituary: Evelyn Bush was born August 28, 1913. She passed away on February 10, 2008. Evelyn and Clinton married on April 10, 1959.  Son Carroll resides in Alabama. Son Mike resides in Modesto, CA. Son Tom resides in San Luis Obispo, CA. She had 7 great-grandchildren. She also has one daughter, Beverly Bush, of Porterville, CA.  (information from Evelyn's granddaughter)
