The Warrior Boosters honored these six student athletes for their standout play and leadership. Pictured from left to right are Tyler Hack, Nikki Leishman, Nico Taliulu, Nick Phillips, Joel Dorado, and Amber Erwin. The varsity wrestler of the month is Tyler Hack. He is the son of Russell and Debra Hack. Tyler, a senior, wrestles in the 160-pound weight class and has finished first in the recent South Sequoia League finals and the Highland Duels, second in the Lemoore Bash and the Coyote Classic. Tyler also played football with a team record of 25-5 in his prep school career. Nikki, senior, is the captain and a flyer on the Tehachapi High School cheer squad. Nikki is the daughter of Eric and Christine Leishman. She is also busy with Jazz Band, FFA, CSF and NHS. Nico is a freshman member of the THS wrestling team. Nico wrestles in the heavyweight class and sports a 15-5 record in his first year, including placing second in the Foothill Tournament. Nico is the son of Amos and Jennifer Taliulu. Nick, a freshman, is the son of Kyle and Kris Phillips. He is a forward on the Indians basketball team. Joel is a goal keeper on the Braves soccer team. Joel is a sophomore and the son of Tammy and Louie Dorado. Amber is a flyer on the junior varsity cheer squad. Amber, a freshman, is the daughter of Kevin and Nadia Erwin. The Warrior Boosters meet on the first Saturday of each month at Kelcy%u2019s restaurant.
