A big, heartfelt thank you from Save Tehachapi's Orphaned Pets to Susie Hubbard for donating bare root roses from her award-winning garden, and for all the work she put into writing up descriptions of the roses, pricing, digging and pruning them. The money raised from selling the roses will benefit homeless and abandoned animals and will help us get to our bigger goal of building a shelter right here in Tehachapi. Also, woofs and meows to Kandi Smith, the owner of Tehachapi Flower Shop and Nanci Anderson, of Tehachapi Vet Clinic, for donating a magnificent flower arrangement to Save Tehachapi's Orphaned Pets for our information table at the Main Street Wine and Chocolate Tasting. At the end of the night, the arrangement was given to one of the many people who stopped to talk to Oscar, our spokesdog, about our group.
