I am overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support from my family, friends and community.

This has been a very difficult and humbling experience. After working and supporting myself and my family as a self-employed beautician in Tehachapi over the last 14 years since my divorce, I always considered myself to be a self sufficient person. I never imagined I would find myself in the situation I find myself in today.

More surprising than that are the people who have reached out to support me through this difficult time, and for that I am eternally grateful.

I would like to thank my dear friends, Darlene Tomasko and Barbara Oberg for caring enough to go through so much trouble, especially now, since they are still in so much pain themselves.

Thanks to my children for their continued love and support, and to the community for supporting me as a resident and friend for the past 36 years.

Words cannot express how grateful I am.
