I would like to thank everyone who helped on Wednesday, Feb. 20, when I rolled my Tahoe on Banducci Road, during the hailstorm.
James Ortiz was the first to stop and he quickly called for help, while I comforted my two young children. A nice couple who would not give their names, other than “Plain Jane,” was a wonderful comfort and help.
Shelly, an ER nurse from Antelope Valley Hospital stopped to make sure we were all okay and helped connect me to my husband quickly. To the woman who stopped and gave us blankets from her car, thank you so much for your kindness. Thank you also to Mano Lujan, who stopped and then went home and came back with more blankets.
The Stallion Springs Fire Department arrived quickly and they were wonderful. They did an exceptional job and Hall Ambulance paramedic’s were great too! Marsha was wonderful with my daughter, and was so kind to call and check on her later that evening. To all the staff we encountered at the hospital, thank you. (I apologize for not remembering every name).
It is nice to know that people still care. Just another reason I am happy to call Tehachapi home.
