Delores Ann Kelley was born on July 1, 1940, to parents Harvey and Hazel Kromer, in Bakersfield. She passed away peacefully on March 1, 2008 at Yuma Medical Center, Yuma, Ariz. She was a long time resident of Tehachapi.
She graduated from Tehachapi High School in 1958. She went on to graduate from Bakersfield College and eventually obtained a masters degree from California State University Stanislaus.
Delores loved to be with her friends and family. She loved and lived life to the fullest. She was very dedicated to her profession, and she was involved in many people’s recovery and touched their lives in a special way.
She was preceded in death by her loving son, Kyle Bradley Kelley.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jimmy Leroy Kelley, of Turlock; daughter-in-law, Cynthia Louise Kelley, of Modesto; granddaughter, Rochelle Lynn Kelley, also of Modesto; brother, Steven J. Kromer and his wife Sharyl M. Kromer, of Tehachapi; niece Molly Marie Kromer, also of Tehachapi, and nephew Caleb James Kromer and his wife Teri Kromer, along with two great-nieces, Arwen Elizabeth and Gwendylen Marie, all of Shellsburg, Pa.
Delores ‘Auntie Ann’ you will be truly missed.
Interment scheduled for March 11, at 10 a.m. Lakewood Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 900 Santa Fe Ave., Hughson, Calif. The family requests that any remembrances be made to the Redwood Family Center in Modesto, Calif. (209)522-8977.
