On April 4, Tanner Muro participated in the state Geography Bee. After winning the Jacobsen Middle School Geography Bee on Jan. 18, Tanner was one of 100 students out of over 2,000 school invited to participate at the state level.
Students were asked questions regarding ancient times, current times as they relate to current events, turmoil in the Middle East, continents, countries, states, landmakrs, exploration, discoveries and cultures. California is the hardest competition in the U.S. and Tanner placed 31st. We congratulate Tanner on his accomplishments.
