Lion Club members are proud to announce that Mikel Jenkins, Andy Graham and Maritza Parra have been chosen as Lion Club “Students of the month for April.”
Mikel Jenkins was nominated for her mature attitude, good work ethic, and for being an outstanding role model for other students at Tehachapi High. Mikel has artistic talents, and aspires to eventually to go onto culinary school after graduation.
Andy Graham was selected at Monroe High, not only for his progress academically, but his focus towards future goals. Andy has a super attitude toward his classmates, and is well liked by booth students and staff at Monroe.
At Jacobsen Middle School, Maritza Parra is currently a seventh grade honor student. She enjoys playing board games, and her ambition is to become a future elementary school teacher after graduation from college.
Congratulations to these fine students in our community.
