The cities new water storage tanks near the corner of Curry Street and Highline Drive are nearly ready for service.
“The two new tanks will hold 1.3 million gallons of water, each giving us a total of 2.6 million additional gallons of water storage,” said Greg Garrett, Tehachapi Interim City Manager.
The tanks are undergoing an internal coating/sealant. Once the coating dries and is tested, the tanks will be filled.
