The Girl Scout Troop 383 recently went to Dana Point Harbor. We were able to go whale watching and we actually saw two California Gray Whales.

When the boat came back in, we went kayaking and got a discount because we were Girl Scouts (we gave them some Girl Scout Cookies in thankfulness.) When we were kayaking in the harbor there was a California Sea Lion that actually came up to us and hissed at us.

We had a great time at the festival of whales; there was a parade and other fun things. We were able to camp at Katie Wilson’s grandpa’s house for free. Sam Puma (Katie's grandpa) builds airplanes and he has a huge barn that he builds them in. He gave us a tour of it and showed us some cool things that the airplane controls do. It was an awesome trip.
