Members of the Patriot Guard Riders, a group dedicated to supporting veterans, escorted McCool on the final leg of his journey home from a treatment facility in Palo Alto. As previously reported in the Tehachapi News, McCool is recovering from injuries sustained in a roadside explosion from an IED (Improvised Explosive Device) in Baghdad, on March 25.
