Description: A light earthquake occured at 1:11 am Thursday morning

A light earthquake occured at 1:11 am Thursday morning. The magnitude 4.4 event occured  12 miles South South East of the town of Lake Isabella according to a preliminary report provided by United States Geological Survey. The hypo center depth was 2 miles.There have been no reports of damage or injuries reported to the Kern County Fire department.
