Eighth Graders! Yes indeed.
The career fair is not only geared toward Tehachapi High School students, it is also for Jacobsen Middle School eighth graders. The booths, the hunting, the free stuff! As the scavenger hunt occupies them at first, they search in hope of finding info on their future careers.
But really, some people say that career choices change at least seven times before an individual makes the final decision. So does this fair help our soon to be freshman with any course decisions?
Dylan Murray, JMS student, said,“ I think this fair will help my decisions. I’m open for any options.”
There are many booths here from many different businesses. Those who have had their mind set on one career are now introduced to more choices.
“It is different to see different ways to express myself,” said Shiloh Beazel, JMS student. "Some of the things I’ve seen I haven’t even considered until now.”
This fair may help the eighth graders decide their classes for their freshman year at Tehachapi High School. This career fair is just another stepping stone for the future.
