Kerry and Susan Thuren are proud to announce that their son, Fireman Jake R. Thuren recently graduated from the U.S. Coast Guard recruit training center in Cape May, N.J.
Jake will be stationed at Two Rivers Coast Guard Station on Lake Michigan for further training towards the Elite Surfman program.
Jake is a life-long Tehachapi resident and a 2007 graduate of Tehachapi High School.
