I would like to thank everyone who made my Junior Miss experience so memorable. Without Stefani Parks’ organization, Kimberly Grimes’  humor, and Heather Quarles’ choreography this program would not exist. Each of these women had an intricate part of this program and I am truly grateful for their sacrifice.

I would also like to thank my sponsors, Lanetta Ashmore (Tehachapi Real Estate), Tammy Engel (Mortgage Advisor), Dr. Jones (Olde Town Dental), Chris Walters (Tehachapi Real Estate), Studio J, Carol Miller (Tehachapi Real Estate), Suzi Mac/Shannon Daffern (Coldwell Banker) and Dr. Theurer. Their generous donations made this program possible.

My thanks also goes out to the Shugart family for allowing their daughter, Ashby, to dance with me and be my “little sister.” Ashby’s warm smile and beautiful face brightened my early Saturday mornings.

The Junior Miss participants who I competed with also deserve thanks. Without these 27 amazing girls, I would not have been able to make the bonds that I made. I strengthened friendships, renewed old ones, and made new ones. All 28  of us laughed and cried together.

I would like to thank my support system, my “mother hen”  Maria Llamas, my “secret sister” Katie Snapp, my family and friends, especially my amazing sister Kristen. They supported and encouraged me throughout this entire experience.

Looking back I realize how truly blessed I am. God placed all these amazing people in my life. I am so proud to represent Tehachapi and I am excited to compete in the state competition this summer!
