Foot pursuit ends in felony arrest

Last week Tehachapi City Police Officers observed a known felony warrant suspect in the 200 block of North Green Street. As officers attempted to make contact, the suspect Sampson Raph, 24, of Tehachapi, ran from the officers.
After a short foot chase the suspect was apprehended. Raph was transported to the Mojave jail and charged with felony possession of a controlled substance.
