The City of Tehachapi and Main Street Tehachapi were honored with an Award of Excellence by the California Association for Local Economic Development (CALED) at the June 2 City Council meeting.
“A lot of people participate and hear about your community. Tehachapi applied under partnerships category; it honors a project between the public and private sector. The project that was submitted by your staff was the historic down town revitalization,” Patrick Collins, member of CALED.
