 Local 4th of July festivities will take place over Lake Isabella, as scheduled, this weekend.

Public visiting the area this weekend is advised to be safe, slow down and drive cautiously due to the high volume of traffic and fire equipment sharing the road.

A public meeting is scheduled in Lake Isabella tonight from 7-8 pm at the Kern Valley Senior Center at 6405 Lake Isabella Blvd.
