We were able to sell all of our Raffle Tickets for the Hitching Post Theater Annual Passes and our drawing was held outside the movie theater on June 27th. The lucky ticket was drawn by the Manager of Hitching Post Theater and the winner of this year's Annual Passes was Leslie Molzahn.
Her husband, Matthew bought $5.00 worth of raffle tickets and put her name on at least one of them and that was the lucky ticket drawn. Leslie received a pass for herself and one guest that entitles them to attend as many movies as they wish to see for a whole year. Congratulations Leslie!

I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July that was safe and sane and that you took the necessary precautions to keep your animals safe as well. That can be a very stressful time for dogs and cats. The heat doesn't help any either, dogs can suffer heat stroke just like a human so unless you really need to take your dog with you; while the weather is hot, it would be better to leave them home where they can stay cool in familiar territory.
We still haven't seen the end of kitten season. Please check out www.petfinders.com to see what we have available for adoption. Remember all animals adopted through THS have been spayed or neutered. If you get your companion animal through a source that does not spay and neuter, check with us on obtaining vouchers to help defray your cost. Don't add to the problem of overpopulation. Have your companion animals fixed.
