Ashley Bartlett and Erick Westburg announced their engagement and plans for an August 9, 2009 wedding at Evergreen Gardens in Ferndale, Washington.
The prospective bride is the daughter of Daniel and Valerie Bartlett of Sandpoint Idaho.
She is a graduate from Sandpoint High School and is currently employed as an assistant frontend manager at Sehome Haggen in Bellingham.
The prospective groom is the son of Paul Westburg of Belleveue, Washington and Jeni Mhyre of Bellingham, Washington.
He currently attends Western Washington University pursuing his major of manufacturing engineering and is currently employed as a hitch mechanic at UHaul in Bellingham.
The couple met through a mutual friend last summer.
