The Bear Valley Springs Cultural Arts presents the second in their summer concert series with the Jim Phillips Band. Jimmy Phillips, Tommy Hays, Tracy Barns and Maria Worth will be playing a mix of music - country, swing and gospel.
Jimmy Phillips has been a part of the Bakersfield sound with over 50 years in the music business. He learned to play the drums at a very young age and has had the honor of playing with many artists such as Barbara Mandrell, Buck Owens, Glenn Campbell, Charlie Pride, Merle Haggard and many, many others.
Put August 23, 5-7 p.m. on your calendar for this special performance held in the congenial atmosphere of a private home in Bear Valley Springs. Refreshments to delight the palate… This promises to be an evening you won't soon forget.
