Volunteers, donations needed for Community Christmas Baskets

The Knights of Columbus are appealing for food and toys for the Community Christmas Baskets program. This drive is for the needy families of the community. Recipient cards are at the St. Malachy’s Church office as well as the Kern County Fire Department Station 12, on Valley Boulevard and Curry Street. We also need financial help to purchase additional food and toys. Toys and games are to be unwrapped.
Volunteers are needed Dec. 15-19 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Delivery drivers needed for Dec. 18 and 19.
