The Stallion Springs Police Activities League is in the process of setting up an after-school resource program in Stallion Springs.
We are in the planning stage and need to know what parents would be interested in for this type of children’s program. The premise is to begin with a two-day schedule and expand if the interest is there.
The program would begin with students in the second grade and up, using computer software programs in reading and math. There would be qualified personnel there to assist with the programs and with homework. At present, it is important to understand where interests in such a program lies.
To offer input, call Irene at 823-7844 and leave a message or call the district office at 822-3268 leaving your name, telephone number, age and grade of children you would like to be involved. Be sure to specify that you are interested in the resource program.
