Lisa Gaeta was the starting pitcher, but it was Krissy Whitman who picked up the win. In all, the Tehachapi High School pitchers struck out eight and allowed just three hits, five walks and two runs.
Key to the victory was the nine runs scored in the sixth. The Lady Braves sent 14 batters to the plate, logging eight hits.
At the plate, Ashley Biscailuz hit four for five with four RBIs. Lisa Gaeta finished hitting three for five with a three-run homer and five RBIs. Brittany St. John had three hits in four at bats, with a walk. St John scored four runs and was in on six put-outs during the game.
The Lady Braves end pre-season with a record of 6-2.
