They are singing, shouting, dancing, joyful, and it’s all about Jesus. That Jesus sure stirs up the emotions, even His donkey is personable. Adorable children sing, the choir is full of passion, the solos give goose bumps. The Last Supper is a living Leonardo DaVinci painting. Jesus’ approval ratings are high. And then, they aren’t.
Betrayal by Judas leads to the end, which is the beginning. “The Easter Rose” is rich and deep and enticing. More than entertainment, it’s a treasured remembrance.
Remember Easter by attending a free performance of “The Easter Rose” on Good Friday, April 14, at 7 p.m., Saturday, April 15, at 7 p.m., or Easter Sunday, April 16, at 11 a.m.
Nursery care will be available for the little ones, three years and under. For best seating, doors will be open 30 minutes early. Invitations are provided at many of Tehachapi’s businesses, but you don’t need one. Just come and enjoy.
