The World Black Belt Bureau (WBBB) founded and headed by Master Kang Rhee, located in Cordova, Tenn., has awarded ambassadorship to Sensei Tim Sebra of Mountain Martial Arts.

Sebra has been designated as WBBB Ambassador to Kern County. This great honor was awarded in conjunction with Sensei Sebra’s promotion to Third-Degree Black Belt on March 1, by Master Rhee, instructor to Elvis Presley and Bill “Superfoot” Wallace.

“I am very honored to receive this designation and will continually strive to uphold the principles of the WBBB and to be a fine example for the world of martial arts and its students,” Sebra said.

Sebra also said martial arts are ever-changing and evolving, but one thing remains: what it means to be a black belt.

“A black belt is not someone who is a brutal fighter or master assassin; it is simply an accomplishment of goals and an understanding and application of moral and ethical principles,” he said. “The ability to defend oneself with skill and confidence is just a bonus. A black belt must be a leader and must lead by example.”

Sebra is a Third-Degree Black Belt in Kenpo Karate and is the founder of the Sankai Kenpo Karate System. He owns and instructs at Mountain Martial Arts (MMA) Family Self Defense located at 20290 Valley Blvd.  MMA is a registered school of the WBBB and the Worldwide Kenpo Karate Association and Sebra is a certified instructor of the WBBB.

Sebra invites everyone to come on in and see his newly renovated and modern karate school and to take a free class.

Classes are available for ages 3 and up. Kung Fu and Tai Chi classes are also available.
