The Tehachapi Warrior Boosters would like to formally invite all Tehachapi residents who have not purchased a ticket for the upcoming reverse-drawing auction to attend the event set for this Saturday, April 22.

The evening should be fun-filled with festivities that include a tri-tip barbeque by the Snyder family, a live band, dancing and a long list of prizes that can potentially be won by all those who attend.

Many businesses have offered their time and donations and even more have already secured tickets for the event, which the fundraiser committee is very grateful for.

“There have been a lot of businesses that have really stepped up and gave above-and-beyond for this event,” said co-event coordinator Pam Booth. “We just can’t thank enough all of the companies that have offered to donate their time, money and product to make this upcoming evening a reality.”

The planning committee also wanted to give a special thank you to their gold sponsors, Cal Portland Cement and Benz Sanitation and silver sponsor Perkins Insurance, in addition to the many businesses such as Tehachapi Minute Serve Dairy, Summit Chevron, Tehachapi Lumber, Heritage Oaks, Eaton Concrete, and Pulford's Appletree Orchard and individuals who have generously given around the community.

The event will be this Saturday from 5 p.m. until midnight at the West Park Activity Center. Tickets are $100 which, along with entrance to the event, is also good for two dinner tickets. Additional dinner tickets are $10 apiece after the initial buy. It is still not too late to purchase a ticket.

“This is one evening that the Tehachapi community should not miss out on,” said co-event coordinator Pam Booth. “It should be a very entertaining evening for all those that can come out.”

For more information or to purchase a ticket, call Maria Curiel at 823-1668 or Pam Booth at 342-2579.
