0 responses 0 comments Tehachapi’s competitive soccer club, the Gryphons, is looking for boys and girls interested in playing a more challenging and aggressive level of soccer.
Sign-ups will be held Saturday, April 22, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Rigby’s Pizza located next door to the Hitching Post Theaters.
Club members play on single-gender teams with highly qualified and licensed coaches. Players are kept together on the same teams each year in order to develop an advanced sense of teamwork.
Teams currently being offered are (pending registration numbers): girls. U13-14, U15-16 and U17-18; boys. U10-12, U13-14, U15-16 and U17-18.
League play begins the second week of September with games played once a week in Bakersfield. Practices are two to three times weekly at West Park.
The Gryphons are a non-profit sports organization supported by the generous donations of local business and individuals throughout the Tehachapi area.
