Since I'm a spayed cat, I don't have to worry about what to do with the little ones when it snows and the schools close.
But what about the rest of you? What happens when a working parent finds out the schools are closed because of snow? How do you handle it?

I don't know what to think of the weather people anymore. they've taunted me for so long about snow, that it's hard to believe that this time they may be right. They are predicting serious snow on Thursday night and Friday morning, if you haven't already heard. Highway 58 closing kind of snow.

I will be spending both Christmas and New Years in Tehachapi next week for the first time since 1999--even including my stint as a resident again in 2004-2006.
And now I hear you all had snow last week.
Man, I swear. Sometimes I think this whole global warming thing's just about irritating...
