Ramon Ramirez discovered art at a very young age. He will be featured at Gallery 'N' Gifts Sept. 6 for First Friday.

Come join us for our Sept. 6 First Friday at Gallery 'N' Gifts, featuring the wonderful work of Ramon Ramirez.

Ramirez discovered art at a very young age. What started as a child's curiosity has become a passion spanning more than half a century. His legacy includes an active participation in establishing the Casa de la Cultural art school in the early 1970s.

He is the sole illustrator for the California State Department of Education's book "Encuentros - Hombre a Hombre." He has exhibited nationally and internationally since the 1970s.

Most recently, he exhibited as part of a historic 1970s art retrospective with his contemporaries at the Centro Cultural Tijuana in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico and at the Palmdale Playhouse. Currently, he is a master art teacher and mentor at his private studio in Lancaster.

Please join us for a delightful First Friday evening from 5 to 8 p.m., and enjoy the fantastic work of Ramon Ramirez.
