The 23rd annual California Poppy Festival will be held April 26 and 27, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day, at the Lancaster City Park, located at 43011 N. 10th Street West, Lancaster. The event is presented by the City of Lancaster.
Lancaster boasts one of California's most abundant crops of the vibrant poppies that are the state flower. The California Poppy Festival draws approximately 50,000 visitors during the two-day event. In addition to Arts & Crafts and Fine Arts, the festival features multiple stages with live entertainment, a farmers market, carnival rides, lots of exotic cuisines and more. This year's festival includes informative exhibits and delicious food from around the world.
Tickets are available online at poppy festival.com, or may be purchased onsite at the time of the event with cash only. Tickets cost $8 for adults (ages 13 through 61), $5 for children (6 through 12), seniors age 62 and older, and active and retired military with current ID. Wheelchair rentals are available for $10 for four hours.

Preferred parking is free, and free trams will circulate between the entrance and exit and the parking lots.
Arts and crafts vendor applications are now being accepted. Whether you draw; paint; sculpt; sew; make jewelry; work with wood, iron or glass; or take beautiful pictures of nature, the Poppy Festival is a great place to display your artistic talents while making some extra money.
