New programs offered at Tehachapi library

Upcoming activities at the Tehachapi Branch Library include:

Mondays-American Sign Language for Teens and Adults. Teens at 4:30 p.m./Adults at 5:30 p.m.

Fridays -- Preschool Story Time at 10 a.m.

Jan 25, Feb. 8, and Feb. 22. (second and fourth Saturdays): LEGO Club for Kids ages 5+ through middle-school age, 2 p.m. Come to the library to create, learn, and play! Parents must accompany children. (The branch is still looking for LEGO donations to increase the selection for children attending the LEGO club.)

The Tehachapi branch is starting a new Genealogy Club that will meet once a month on the second Saturday at 10 a.m. beginning Feb. 8. If you've ever wanted to create a family tree this is the place to help you get started. The basics of starting a family tree and researching your family's past will be taught.
