Mischa Lefkowitz returns to Tehachapi

Famed violinist Mischa Lefkowitz will perform with the Tehachapi Symphony Orchestra on Sunday, Oct. 27, 4 p.m. at Country Oaks Baptist Church, 20915 Schout Road. Admission is free.

The Tehachapi Symphony Orchestra presents its first concert of the new season on Sunday, Oct. 27, 4 p.m. at Country Oaks Baptist Church, 20915 Schout Road. We are pleased to have Mischa Lefkowitz, violinist, return to Tehachapi. He will perform Vivaldi's Violin Concerto No. 9 and Giardini Violin Concerto.

Lefkowitz is a violinist for the Los Angeles Philharmonic and studied at the famed Moscow Conservatory. He has toured the world, performing in venues such as the Salle Pleyel in Paris and New York City's Carnegie Hall.

On his website, Mischa Lefkowitz claims, "It is always a pleasure to come to Tehachapi,...a hidden treasure town in Kern County. It's an arts community which takes pride in having a symphony orchestra."
