The Tehachapi Community Theatre Junior is pleased to present Michele L. Vacca's adaptation of "Sleeping Beauty" based on the famous Charles Perrault romance written in 1697. The timeless tale tells the story of a royal couple who cannot have a child. The three good fairies of the kingdom cast a spell to help them and soon the king and queen celebrate the birth of their baby daughter. But alas, the only witch in the kingdom becomes angry when she is not invited to the party and casts her own spell to get revenge. Come see "Sleeping Beauty" at the beautiful Beekay Theatre to find out how the rest of the story unfolds.

Playing the part of the three good fairies are Amanda Webster, Madisyn Davenport and Cali Mason opposite Lanie Ringle as the evil witch. Ricky Peregrina and Emily Searles play the childless King and Queen with Emily Sheridan as their long-awaited daughter. Drew Bauer is the Count in the king's court while Connor Mathis portrays the "right" prince who rescues the fair princess. Kasey Brockelsby and Erin Clare play the "wrong" princes who are unable or don't care to rescue her and Hannah Clare is the delightful Narrator.

Rounding out the cast is the ensemble which includes: Lily Bonham, Mia Bonham, Sophia Bonham, Ava Daniels, Gabrielle Kreager, Diana Partridge, Elizabeth Partridge, Anika Valentino and Dmitri Valentino.
