Advocating for Self -- Learn how to be more independent and the skills to locating recovery resources: Tuesdays of April 8 and 22, from 10 to 11 a.m.
Assertiveness Training -- Practice how to state your needs, defend opinions, saying "No," and differentiating among passive, aggressive, and assertive responses: Tuesdays of April 1, 15, and 29, from 10 to 11 a.m.
Bingo with Prizes -- Come join the fun, and play up to two Bingo cards during each game and win up to three prizes. Wednesdays from 3 to 4 p.m.
Computer Basics -- Learn the basics on Microsoft Word, email, and locating information on Internet: Mondays from 11 a.m. to noon.
Cooking on a Budget -- Learn some basic cooking skills on a budget. Food and cooking utensils are supplied. RSVP for this group at least one day prior to scheduled group: Wednesdays of April 2 and 30, from 3 to 4 p.m.
Dual Recovery Anonymous -- The Twelve Steps of Dual Recovery Anonymous are based on the proven principles of the traditional Twelve Steps and include the whole disease of chemical dependency and our emotional or psychiatric illnesses: Tuesdays from 2 to 3 p.m.
Men's Group -- Begins with card game Uno. The purpose is to start the conversation on common ground with a common interest, then let the conversation go where it leads, current issues, etc. No particular subject, just a group of men gathered together to share experiences: Thursdays from noon to 1 p.m.
Overcoming Anxiety -- Come on in and learn and practice coping strategies, skills, and relaxing exercises: Thursdays from 2 to 3 p.m.
Sign Language -- A peer lead group teaching the basics of sign language: Mondays from 10 to 11 a.m.
Stomp Out Substances -- A self-help support group for people who are recovering from a mental illness and alcohol and/or drug abuse: Fridays from 2 to 3 p.m.
Walking Wonders -- A 45-minute walking group to promote peace of mind in a low impact exercise routine: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 to 10 a.m.
Woman's Group -- A safe place to share, learn, and build relationships with other woman: Fridays from 1 to 2 p.m.
Yoga -- Come join in a stress free environment and practice beginner yoga skills: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from 9 to 10 a.m.
