‘Heralds of the Sword’ at Pacino’s: ‘Metal’ musicians return to hometown

“Heralds of the Sword,” Tehachapi’s own Fantasy Power Metal band, is coming home for a rare show on Saturday, July 30, at Pacino’s Spaghetti Factory, 110 W. Tehachapi Blvd., Tehachapi.

Doors open at 9 p.m. Special guests “Rugged Spud” and “AHTCK” will kick off the festivities and bring the energy up for the eagerly awaited main act.

Tickets are on sale at Epic Games, 785 Tucker Rd, # D, for $7.

The band offers a unique blend of metal, old-world storytelling, and intricate characters in its performances. The musicians combine keyboard driven power metal a medieval Tolkien-isc world filled with magic, mystical beings, and clashes between good and evil.

Wolfgang Shudduck, rhythm guitar, wrote the founding lore surrounding the world of Tyrinthia. Adam Wojack, drums, is the main storywriter and produces the background histories and character biographies.

The narratives are then passed on to Sam Carrasco, keyboard, who writes the lyrics and composes each song. Tyler DiRocco strums the bass.

Caleb Hairston plays the lead guitar. Kenny Montejano is the voice.

Jeff Anderson is the narrator, beginning each show with fantastic tales.
