April 11, 2014
12:13 a.m. Disturbing the peace. Occurred at Indian Creek Villas on Tucker Road. Loud party in the back of the apartment. Disposition: Advised.
4:24 a.m. Disturbing the peace. Occurred at La Quinta Hotel on Steuber Road. Guest is disturbing the peace at the front counter over a business policy. Disposition: Civil problem.
9:06 a.m. Threats of death/bodily injury. Occurred on Tucker Road. Request an officer meet her at her work location regarding an ongoing harassment on Facebook. Disposition: Report taken.
9:09 a.m. Pedestrian check. Officer initiated activity at West "D" Street/Mulberry Street. Disposition: Arrest made.
9:53 a.m. School resource duty. Officer initiated activity at Tehachapi High School, South Dennison Road. Meeting with principal regarding probation terms. Disposition: Advised.
10:54 a.m. Auto accident, no injuries. Occurred at South Mill and West "C" Streets. Disposition: Report taken.
11:36 a.m. Warrant service. Occurred at Tehachapi Police Department on East "F" Street. Disposition: Arrest made.
2:49 p.m. Suspicious circumstances. Occurred at Pinon and Elm Streets. Seven male juveniles all have guns of some sort chasing each other. Disposition: No further action required, airsoft guns, no crime.
3:03 p.m. Disturbing the peace. Occurred at Walgreens Drug Store on West Tehachapi Boulevard. Black male adult on the bus screaming at the driver, reporting party would like them removed. Disposition: No further action required .
3:27 p.m. Suspicious person. Occurred on West "J" Street. White female in white t-shirt and blue jeans seems confused and did not know where she was, possibly. Disposition: No further action required .
3:37 p.m. Missing person. Occurred on North Mill Street. Reporting party's daughter is unable to care for herself due to mental disabilities. Subjects does not drive so she may have left on foot, RP is unsure of where she may go but believes she may still be in the Tehachapi area. Disposition: No further action required .
4:03 p.m. Suspicious person. Occurred at Kmart on West Tehachapi Boulevard. Black male adult, 25 years old, gray shirt, subject appears to be UTI and is just inside the store. Disposition: Arrest made.
7:06 p.m. Disobedience of court order. Occurred at Tehachapi Police Department on East "F" Street. Refused to exchange daughter for visitation. Reporting party is standing by in a white Dodge Caliber. Disposition: Advised.
7:40 p.m. Suspicious circumstances. Occurred on East "I" Street. Male and female on a BMX bike. Female wearing a black sweater and blue jeans and a white male thin built possibly buying narcotics from the residence. The subjects were also talking to a female transient. Disposition: Unable to locate.
8:49 p.m. Welfare check request. Occurred at Four Seasons Trailer Park on West "J" Street. 62 year old female is out of control, care taker is requesting an ambulance. Disposition: Assignment completed.
8:59 p.m. Threats death/bodily injury. Occurred on Oakwood Street. 16 year old male was threatened by an hispanic male adult, threatening to shoot the juvenile. Disposition: Report taken.
9:41 p.m. Welfare check request. Occurred on East "F" Street. Son's father has child at this residence and advised mother of the child that he was leaving the Tehachapi residence and going to California City. The court order states that in the month of April, father is only allowed to have him in Tehachapi. Disposition: Assignment completed.
11:32 p.m. Welfare check request. Occurred at South Green and East "E" Streets. White male adult, 60 to 70 years of age sitting on side of the road, appears disoriented, wearing a yellow sweatshirt and blue jeans. Disposition: Checks ok.
April 12, 2014
7:56 a.m. Civil problem. Occurred on East "D" Street. Would like counsel regarding her not wishing to allow her son to be released to the father at 9 a.m. as their court order requires. Disposition: Advised.
9:44 a.m. Peace disturbance, verbal. Occurred at East "F" and Davis Streets. St. Verbal heard, lots of banging, unknown of physical as well, unknown address. Disposition: Situation resolved.
10:40 a.m. Cruelty to animals. Occurred on Appaloosa Court. Second hand information from Kern County Sheriff's Department, reporting party was at the residence to purchase a vehicle, she observed a dog that was missing a paw and one eye was completely swollen shut, wounds appeared to be fresh. Disposition: Checks ok.
10:42 a.m. Auto accident, no injuries. Occurred on Kelton Street. Reporting party and his neighbor backed into each other. Disposition: Report taken.
2:27 p.m. Disturbing the peace. Occurred on Alan Avenue. Loud motorcycle in the area. Disposition: Gone on arrival.
2:41 p.m. Pedestrian check. Officer initiated activity at North Green and East "J" Streets. Disposition: Arrest made.
3:03 p.m. Found property. Occurred at Valley Boulevard and South Mill Street. Two dirt bikes located in the alley near 800 block of South Mill. Disposition: Report taken.
5:02 p.m. Civil problem. Occurred at Tehachapi Police Department on East "F" Street. Reporting party believes subjects who were hired to fix her vehicle dismantled it and stole parts. Disposition: Report taken.
5:48 p.m. Disturbing the peace. Occurred on South Green Street. Several vehicles in the street being worked on and causing disturbance. Reporting party believes the subjects are running a repair shop out of the house. Disposition: Advised.
9:21 p.m. Civil problem. Occurred on East "F" Street. Male refusing to give reporting party's juvenile daughter over to her. Male is not the father of the child. Disposition: Situation resolved.
April 13, 2014
10 a.m. Peace disturbance, verbal. Occurred on Michael Avenue. Verbal between son and girlfriend. Disposition: No further action required.
10:04 a.m. Petty theft, less than $400. Occurred at Indian Creek Villas on Tucker Road. Just discovered his rear license plate is missing while vehicle is parked in the parking area at the apartment complex. Disposition: Report taken.
10:31 a.m. Peace disturbance, verbal. Occurred on Michael Avenue. Cellular 911 call: female called her granddaughter in Bakersfield and is crying and upset and scared, being threatened by her grandson. Reporting party would like contact from an officer following the response. Disposition: No further action required.
12:09 p.m. Civil problem. Occurred on Beech Street. Family member parks his vehicle on the street across from their residence when he goes to work with reporting party's husband. The woman that lives in the house at that location comes out and sprays the car with water everyday. Reporting party is seeking counsel on how to proceed. Disposition: Civil problem.
1:04 p.m. Health and Safety. Occurred at "I" Street. Possible drug sales out of the back yard into the alley. Suspects walking toward the trailer park area. Male wearing a white t-shirt and a young female on a bike. Disposition: Unable to locate.
1:07 p.m. Peace disturbance, music. Occurred on West "A" Street. Loud music is coming from inside a house at this location. Disposition: Unable to locate.
1:31 p.m. Stolen vehicle. Officer initiated activity at Cimarron Court Apartments, Cimarron Court. Disposition: Report taken. NOTE: Vehicle was recovered on night shift, one suspect arrested.
2:06 p.m. Parked vehicle. Officer initiated activity at Manzanita Lane. Disposition: 72-hour notice.
2:15 p.m. Vandalism against person or property of another. Occurred at Warrior Park on Clasico Drive. Several juveniles spray painting all over the equipment. Disposition: Unable to locate.
5:20 p.m. Battery report. Occurred on Cherry Lane. Suspect coming over intoxicated and he hit her 7 year old son, he has left the area, she wishes to file a report. Reporting party states her son does not need medical attention. Disposition: No further action required .
6:12 p.m. Burglary, inhabited. Occurred on Clearview Street. Vehicle was broken into. Disposition: Assignment completed.
6:20 p.m. Defrauding an innkeeper. Occurred at Denny’s on Magellan Drive. Walk out just occurred two minutes ago. Suspects are a black female and hispanic female with a child. Females wearing dresses, unknown description. Disposition: Report taken.
6:43 p.m Stolen vehicle. Occurred at East Tehachapi Boulevard. Cellular 911 call: Black male attempted to break into late model white vehicle that is parked in front of the Shell station. Subjects fled in black F150 with no plates. Disposition: Unfounded.
7:06 p.m. Peace disturbance, music. Occurred at Mulberry Street and West Valley Boulevard. Disposition: Checks ok.
11:22 p.m. Disturbing the peace. Occurred at Tucker Road/West Valley Boulevard. Disposition: Checks ok.

3:54 a.m. Stolen vehicle report. Occurred on Stage Drive. Vehicle has been located at the residence, there is a female on scene screaming and yelling that the vehicle is hers and she bought it for $100. Note: This vehicle was reported stolen earlier from Cimarron Court. Suspect arrested and booked for auto theft, theft of vehicle parts, possession of stolen property, possession of narcotics paraphernalia.

2:12 p.m. Vicious, barking, bite, etc. Occurred on Piute Court. Two dogs loose in the area, dogs have been coming up into the resident's yard with his dogs
queensland and mixed breed dog. . Disposition: Unable to Locate.
2:40 p.m. Abandoned vehicle. Occurred on Jamaica Dunes Drive. Vehicle has been parked on the street at this location for over a week with no Bear Valley sticker or pass. Disposition: Situation resolved.
7:40 p.m. Health and Safety. Occurred at Whiting Center Parking Lot on Bear Valley Road. Two juveniles smoking pot in front of the Whiting Center near a tree. Disposition: Checks ok.
2:37 p.m. Exhibiting a weapon. Occurred on Oakflat Drive. Reporting party's neighbor started a peace disturbance over trash in the yard then left to his residence next door. Disposition: Report taken.
5:28 p.m. Hazardous material. Occurred at Gate on Bear Valley Road. Disposition: Advised.
3:34 p.m. Citizen requested assistance. Occurred at In The Canyon on Hillside Court/Skyline Drive. Reporting party’s friend has hiked down the canyon below Hillside and Skyline. He is stating he is too tired to make it back up the trail. Dispatch contacted Kern County Fire and they are responding to assist. He hiked down the canyon from the water tank on Skyline, just below Hillside. He is in canyon West of Hillside and North of the Water Tank. Disposition: Turn over to.
Kern County Sheriff Tehachapi Substation: Between April 11 and the morning of April 14, the Kern County Sheriff's Department responded to 47 incidents, including a theft investigation on Sand Canyon Road, stolen vehicle investigation on Golden Hills Boulevard, malicious mischief on Sand Canyon Road and Greene Road, disturbing the peace on Madre Street, battery on Highways 58 and 202, suspicious person on Mariposa Avenue, assault with a deadly weapon on Highways 58 and 202, suspicious circumstances on Golden Hills Boulevard and Woodford/Tehachapi Road, welfare check on Golden Star Boulevard, and a traffic pursuit on Westood Boulevard and Vaquero Drive.

• Tehachapi Valley Arts Association's "Eggstravaganza", an annual egg decorating contest, will be on display through April 19, at Galley 'n' Gifts, 100 W. Tehachapi Blvd. Voting by the public will take place through this date, with the winners to be announced the day before Easter Sunday.
• Bear Valley Springs Cultural Arts Association will present its 30th annual art show over Easter week through April 20, at the Oak Tree Country Club.
• The Tehachapi Planning Commission meeting scheduled for Monday, April 14, has been canceled due to a lack of agenda items.
• The Tehachapi Valley Recreation and Park District's next board meeting is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15, at the district's headquarters, 490 W. "D" St.
• The Stallion Springs Comunnity Services District's next board meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15, at the district's headquarters, 27800 Stallion Springs Drive.
• The Tehachapi-Cummings County Water District's next board meeting is at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16, at the district's headquarters, 22901 Banducci Road.
