Tehachapi Police Department:

Feb. 3, 2014

9:59 a.m. Petty theft report. Occurred at Tehachapi Police Department on East "F" St. 488R. Disposition: Report taken.

11:25 a.m. Petty theft less than $400. Officer initiated activity at Monroe High School, South Snyder Avenue. Disposition: Report taken.

1:54 p.m. Petty theft less than $400. Officer initiated activity at W D St/Mulberry St, Tehachapi. . Disposition: Arrest made.

2:11 p.m. Burglary report. Occurred on Hickory Avenue. 460 from vehicle, occurred sometime in the last 24 hours. Disposition: Report taken.

7:28 p.m. Pedestrian check. Officer initiated activity at The Village Apartments, North Mill Street. Out with two. Disposition: Arrest made.

11:46 p.m. Traffic stop. Officer initiated activity at Aspen Drive and Beech Street. Disposition: Arrest made.

Bear Valley Springs Police Department:

Feb. 3, 2014

4:32 p.m. Theft of mail. Occurred at Bear Valley Police Department on Bear Valley Road. Disposition: Assignment completed.

Kern County Sheriff Tehachapi Substation: Between Feb. 3 and the morning of Feb. 4, the Kern County Sheriff's Department responded to 19 incidents, including a peace disturbance investigation in Golden Hills and a petty theft investigation on Valley Boulevard.

Stallion Springs Police Department: Nothing reported.

California Highway Patrol: Nothing reported.

• Guy Davis, acoustic blues singer-songwriter is performing Sunday, Feb. 9 at the Beekay Theatre at 3 p.m. Tickets are $20.

• The Tehachapi Planning Commission's next meeting is slated for Monday, Feb. 10, at 6 p.m. at the Wells Education Center, 300 S. Robinson St.
