The latest news - The National Weather Service San Joaquin Valley in Hanford issued a special weather statement AT 6:34 a.m. this morning for the the Kern County Mountains and south eastern deserts. A low pressure system will bring monsoonal moisture into the region throughout the evening, providing a favorable environment for isolated thundershowers. Lightning associated with these thunderstorms could spark fires and could bring gusty and erratic winds with heavy rain. For more info READ HERE.

12:42 a.m. Pedestrian check at East “I” Street and North Robinson Street. With a bicyclist. Arrest made.
9:46 a.m. Burglary alarm o Arabella Court. Living room motion detector/front door. False alarm.
10:15 a.m. Unauthorized use of personal info occurred on canyon dr east, tehachapi. Through union bank. occurred the last couple of days at unk location bank has been notified. . Disposition: report taken.
10:53 a.m. Disturbing the peace occurred on North Mill Street. Reporting party's boyfriend is pounding on the door refusing to leave suspect. Advised.
2:24 p.m. Auto accident - No injuries/property at Tehachapi High School. Assignment completed.
2:55 p.m. Extra patrol at Central Park. Request ex-patrol for a citizen who stated the vendors are breaking sprinkler heads. Civil problem.
6:00 p.m. Disturbing the peace on North Mill Street. Is at her home throwing the basketball against her door. Arrest made.
6:39 p.m. Warrant service at Meadowbrook Court. Arrest made.
6:59 p.m Pedestrian check at West “E” Street and South Mill. Arrest made.
8:23 p.m. Peace disturbance verbal occurred on East “F” Street. Past occurrence. Customer was harassing employees by falsely accusing them of selling beer to minors. Unfounded.
8:52 p.m. Disturbing the peace at rodeo grounds in VIP area. Situation resolved.
9:43 p.m. Pedestrian check East Tehachapi Boulevard. Arrest made.
10:23 p.m. Disturbing the peace on Spruce Street. Fight. Unable to locate.
10:31 p.m. Assist other agencies occurred on Snowshoe Court. Reporting part can hear his neighbor's arguing. Can now hear shooting and people yelling Assisted.
Aug. 17, 2013
12:06 a.m. Peace disturbance music occurred at Tehachapi Senior Manor. Reporting loud music at the dog house. No further action required .
12:12 a.m. Drunk in public on West “E” Street. Checks ok.
12:46 a.m. Traffic stop at Highway 202. Arrest made.
11:33 a.m. Drunk in public occurred on West Tehachapi Boulevard. Turn over.
12:07 p.m. Battery occurred at Central Park. Fire Dept. personnel standing by at the Tehachapi Police Dept. command. Not requesting medical attention. Assignment completed.
1:21 Robbery on East Tehachapi Boulevard. Disposition: report taken. Note: dispute over a cell phone, victim did not want prosecution, cell phone was recovered, suspect arrested on unrelated charges.
4:37 p.m. Petty theft less than $400.00 at rodeo grounds. Report taken.
7:38 p.m. Traffic stop at Carroll Way. Arrest made.
8:14 p.m. Assault on East “D” Street. Just occurred. Two males came forced their way into residence and hit reporting person with their fists. Report taken.
9:44 p.m. Peace disturbance music on West “J” Street. Loud music. Warning.
11:46 p.m. Burglary; inhabited on West “E” Street. Just occurred. Two to three males seen. Stole females medication and jewelry. Subjects forced their way into the residence through the front door. Report taken.
11:52 p.m. Peace disturbance verbal occurred on South Pauley St. Male and female yelling in the street, Assignment completed.
11:58 Peace disturbance music on Aspen Drive. Warning.

Aug. 17, 2013
9:10 a.m. Animal call occurred on Homested Way. Large pig to the rear of property. Unable to locate.
9:40 a.m. Found property occurred at Fawn Way and Lower Valley Road. Blue vinyl case by the bus stop.
12:41p.m. Animal call occurred on Cumberland Road. Several subjects out of their vehicles in the area, chasing elk thru the open field. Gone on arrival.
5:05p.m. Vicious, barking, bite, etc. occurred on Columbia Way. No further action required.
Aug. 18, 2013
3:02 p.m. Burglary report occurred at Bear Valley Police Department. Reporting party left keys with a friend who was to take care of her home while she was away for June/July. When she returned misc. jewelry was missing from inside the home. Report taken.
4:23 p.m. Suspicious circumstances occurred on Amberwood Court. Two dogs are missing from yard. Reporting party believes someone may have taken them or them out intentionally. Report taken.
7:08 p.m. Suspicious circumstances occurred on Braeburn Place. Reporting party advised several juveniles came to her door for unknown reason. Juveniles refused to answer why they were there. There is now a large group of juveniles gathered in the street in front of residence. Report taken.
7:38 p.m. Traffic stop at Carroll Way. Arrest made.
9:09 p.m. Threats death/bodily injury occurred on Jacaranda Drive. Juvenile made threats to harm reporting person if he saw him on the streets. Report taken.
9:23 Vicious, barking, bite, etc. occurred on Fawn Way. Two dogs barking on the corner of Fawn and Deertrail. Warning.
10:02 p.m. Traffic stop at North Lower Valley Road and Bear Valley Road. Arrest made.
Aug. 19, 2013
2:21a.m. Traffic stop on Bear Valley Road at gate. Arrest made.
6:34 a.m. Vicious, barking, bite, etc. occurred on Oak Tree Court. Barking dog, ongoing problem. No further action required.
4:27 p.m. Vicious, barking, bite, etc. occurred at Cub Lake on Bear Valley Road. Loose dogs running in the area of lake. Information only.
7:42 p.m. Animal call occurred on Greenwater Drive. Fawn in trouble maybe hit by a car hobbling around yard. Turn over to animal control.
8:01 p.m. Animal call occurred at Four Island Lake. Wild pigs, near row of trees, reporting party can only hear them not seen. Unable to locate.
8:14 p.m. Assist other agencies on Hialeah Drive. Stallion Springs officer needs help transporting. Has two arrestees. Assisted.
10:15 p.m. Vicious, barking, bite, etc. occurred on San Juan Drive. White terrier with brown spots on collar, on reporting parties back porch. Information only.
11:12 p.m. Vicious, barking, bite, etc. occurred on Blackgold Way. Barking dogs in vicinity were barking all night. Assignment completed.

00:21 a.m. Traffic stop at Golden Hills Boulevard and West Valley Boulevard. Arrest made.
12:39 a.m. Peace disturbance verbal at South Pauley and West “E” Street. Started as a verbal between approx. five subjects. One male threw a punch. Unable to locate.
12:57 a.m. Traffic stop on Tucker Road. Possible DUI. Arrest made.
1:31 p.m. Pedestrian check at West “E” Street. Arrest made.
1:37 p.m. Indecent exposure occurred at East “D” Street and South Robinson Street. Make contact with reporting party at the civil air patrol tent where the air patrol cadets report a male Hispanic subject indecently exposed himself. No further action required .
2:09 p.m. Disturbing the peace occurred on Tucker Road.. Verbal between employee and customer. Male subject was causing a disturbance refusing to leave. Subject finally left the store once the reporting party called police. Civil problem.
4:13 p.m. Health & Safety occurred at Central Park. Subject is in possession of paraphernalia and showing it to other juveniles. Arrest made.
5:54 p.m. Drunk in public occurred at South Curry Street and Brentwood Drive. Male subject on the corner possibly under the influence. Arrest made.
6:11 p.m. Disturbing the peace occurred on West “D” Street. Two people fighting, man and possible women. One man huddled bleeding unknown weapon. Checks OK.
9:33 p.m. Disturbing the peace on South Curry Street. Male putting hands on girl and girl yelling stop, Arrest made.

12:19 a.m. Disturbing the peace occurred at Cherry Lane. Couple fighting. Unable to locate.
1:48 a.m. Suspicious circumstances occurred at Benbow Aviation. Subjects sitting in a truck in an abandoned house's backyard. Checks ok.

Stallion Springs Police Department: Nothing reported.
California Highway Patrol: Nothing reported.

• The next City Council meeting at 6 p.m. tonight, inside the Beekay Theatre, 110 S. Green St.
• The Tehachapi Valley Recreation and Parks District's boar of directors will meet at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 20 at the district headquarters, 490 West "D" St.
• Directors from the Tehachapi-Cummings County Water District will met at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 21, at the disrtrict headquarters, 22901 Banducci Road.
• There will be a pre-proposal meeting to explain the process of the Golden Hills Solid Waste Collection Request for Proposal at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 21 at the Golden Hills CSD building, 21415 Reeves St. The public is welcome to attend the meeting, which is mandatory for all potential bidders.
