The latest news - This Saturday, May 11 the United States Postal Service wiil be collecting and delivering more than mail. Postal carriers will also pick up non-perishable food donations left at mailboxes as they visit every home in the nation for their annual "Stamp Out Hunger" campaign. For more CLICK HERE. AND....a local teen driver was arrested following a rollover accident that injured five. The accident occured on April 28, but information was delayed due to email issues. CLICK HERE for the story.

12:35 SUSPICIOUS PERSON Occurred on West “J” Street, Stated there was a gray haired white male subject shooting a pellet gun, subject was standing outside a white 4 Runner type suv, subject was possibly shooting gophers. Disposition: No Criminal Activity.
12:46 ASSAULT Occurred at Airstreams on Murdoc. Cellular 911 Call: Female broke a window at the location and is hitting her ex boyfriend. Disposition: Report taken
13:23 ANY CIVIL PROBLEM Occurred on Aspen Drive Cellular 911 Call: Reporting parties landlord attempting to get rent from the reporting party, Apartment was condemned by the city. Disposition: Advised.
13:27 WELFARE CHECK REQUEST Occurred at West “F” Street/South Mill Street, Older blue BMW, two children approximately 1 1/2 years old inside the vehicle, female driver got out and left while on telephone. Disposition: No Further Action Required .
13:57 DISTURBING THE PEACE Occurred at Cherry Lane/Beech Street, 8-10 juveniles, one subject wearing tan slacks vs another in brown slacks, one subject filming is with several more watching. Disposition: Advised.
14:04 SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES Occurred on Valley Boulevard, White male adult wearing a gray sweatshirt driving a black pick up with bike in the back, Last seen east bound on Valley from Taco Bell, Reporting party stated she witnessed the subject get the bike out of the bed of the truck, ride to an unknown location with a baggie containing a white powdery substance then return to the truck and drive away. Disposition: Unable to Locate.

14:28 PEDESTRIAN CHECK Officer initiated activity at South Snyder Ave., Several juveniles throwing objects into street. Disposition: Advised.
14:45 ABANDONED VEHICLE Occurred at Starbucks Coffee on Tucker Road. Has been parked in the lot for 12 weeks. Disposition: Advised.
15:38 PETTY THEFT LESS THAN $400 Occurred at Circle K 10 on East Tehachapi Boulevard. Male ran off with the reporting parties skateboard while he left it outside the store. Suspect is Hispanic male adult approx. 18 years old last seen wearing "mikona boots" brown shirt, camel pants, spiked gauges in his ears and a black backwards hat. Last seen on foot east bound through an alley behind Circle K. Skateboard is red board with green wheels. Disposition: Report Taken.

19:22 PETTY THEFT LESS THAN $400 Occurred at Home Depot on North Mill Street.Theft occurred 15 minutes ago. Subjects left with unpaid items including a black/blue drill set Makita witnessed by a patron. Black Ford Ranger last seen south bound on North Mill toward the tracks. Disposition: Report Taken.
21:00 PARKED VEHICLE Officer initiated activity at Monolith Street. Made contact with parked vehicle parked in red zone awaiting help for oil spill. Disposition: Information Only .
21:04 SUSPICIOUS PERSON Occurred on Brett Avenue. One hour ago, male who lives down the street came by in his truck and yelled at her children while they were playing at the corner of Dennison/Brett. multiple neighbors were upset about this male subject and one female came outside with a bat to confront him. Disposition: Unable to Locate.
