Tehachapi Police Department:

March 13, 2014

1:35 a.m. Battery report. Occurred at Tehachapi Hospital on West "E" Street.  Disposition: No Further Action Required.

2:41 a.m. Disturbing the peace. Occurred at Ranchotel Turner Lodgeways on South Curry Street. Disposition: Advised.

10:56 a.m. Petty theft less than $400. Occurred at Tehachapi Police Department on East "F" Street. Disposition: Report taken.

11:52 a.m. Vandalism report. Occurred on Tucker Road. Vehicle drove by and shot paint balls at windows. Disposition: Report taken.

12:00 p.m. Unauthorized use of personal info. Occurred at Tehachapi Police Department on East "F" Street. Disposition: Advised.

4:23 p.m. Burglary report. Occurred on Tucker Road. Stolden money from night drop. Disposition: Report taken.

Bear Valley Springs Police Department:

March 13, 2014

4:52 p.m. Driver's license suspended/revoke. Officer initiated activity at Cummings Valley Road and Bailey Road. Disposition: Arrest made.

5:54 p.m. Driving without a license. Officer initiated activity at Cummings Valley Road and Bear Valley Road. Disposition: Arrest made.

8:30 p.m. Disturbing the peace. Occurred on Cumberland Road. Disposition: Assignment completed.

Kern County Sheriff Tehachapi Substation: Between March 13 and the morning of March 14, the Kern County Sheriff's Department responded to 15 incidents, including two health and safety code violations. Both were in Golden Hills.

Stallion Springs Police Department: Nothing reported.

California Highway Patrol: Nothing reported.

Today: Sunny, with a high near 63. Breezy, with a west northwest wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Tonight: Clear, with a low around 39. Breezy, with a west northwest wind 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 68. West northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming east southeast in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 15 mph.

Saturday Night: Clear, with a low around 40. North northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming east southeast in the evening.

• John Gorka, renowned singer-songwriter is performing with Antje Duvekot at Fiddlers Crossing on Sunday, March 16, at 4 p.m. Tickets are $20.

• A Night in the Limelight, Evening of the Arts, is taking place in the Tehachapi High School gymnasium at 6:30 p.m. The public is welcome. Seats are $8 at the door, children under 5 get in free.

• Ernest Troost is performing at Fiddlers Crossing Friday, March 21, at 7 p.m. All seats are $20.
