8:47 a.m. Traffic stop. Officer initiated activity at West "F" Street and South Pauley Street. Disposition: Arrest made.

10:11 a.m. Traffic stop. Officer initiated activity at Highline Road and Tucker Road. Disposition: Arrest made.

2:01 p.m. Burglary report. Occurred on West "E" Street. Disposition: Report Taken.

3:54 p.m. Petty theft less than $400. Occurred at Kmart on West Tehachapi Boulevard. Disposition: Arrest made.

4:35 p.m. Traffic stop. Officer initiated activity at East Tehachapi Boulevard and Monolith Street. Disposition: Arrest made.

6:15 p.m. Petty theft less than $400. Occurred at Triple A Outlet on South Robinson Street. Disposition: Report taken.

6:49 p.m. Drunk in public. Officer initiated activity at Beech Street and Cherry Lane. Disposition: Arrest made.

9:54 p.m. Suspicious person. Occurred on West "E" Street. Disposition: Arrest made.

March 16, 2014

12:02 a.m. Petty theft less than $400. Occurred on Valley Boulevard. Report taken.

7:42 a.m. Burglary; inhabited. Occurred at Home Depot on North Mill Street. Disposition: Report taken.

6:43 p.m. Pedestrian check. Officer initiated activity at Central Park on East "D" Street. Disposition: Arrest made.

March 14, 2014

8:15 a.m. Traffic stop. Officer initiated activity at Cumberland Road and San Juan Drive. Disposition: Arrest made.

2:47 p.m. Auto accident - minor injuries. Occurred at Gate on Bear Valley Road. Disposition: Report taken.

9:18 p.m. Traffic stop. Officer initiated activity at Bear Valley Road and Buttercup Court. Disposition: Arrest made.

March 15, 2014

6:42 p.m. Driving without a license. Officer initiated activity at Whiting Center on Bear Valley Road. Disposition: Arrest made.

March 16, 2014

7:13 a.m. Vandalism against person or property of another. Occurred at Equestrian Center on Bear Valley Road. Bales of hay have been dislodged from the stack/ none known to be missing. Disposition: No further action required.

2:59 p.m. Disabled vehicle. Occurred at On The Hill/Ne Bound on Cumberland Road. On the hill. Disposition: Assignment completed.

4:43 p.m. Burglary report. Occurred at Bear Valley Police Department on Bear Valley Road. Occurred several days ago, Reporting party is unsure of what was taken but said items in her son's room were disturbed. Disposition: Report taken.

5:14 p.m. Threats of death/bodily injury. Occurred on North Lower Valley Road. Disposition: Assignment completed.

Kern County Sheriff Tehachapi Substation: Between March 14 and the morning of March 17, the Kern County Sheriff's Department responded to 71 incidents, including a trespassing investigation on Santa Lucia Street, a burglary investigation on South Street, a petty theft investigation on Verde Street and a public intoxication on Brian Way.

Stallion Springs Police Department: Nothing reported.

California Highway Patrol: Nothing reported.

WEATHER FORECAST

Today: Sunny, with a high near 63. Breezy, with a west northwest wind around 25 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 37. Windy, with a west northwest wind 25 to 30 mph decreasing to 20 to 25 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 60. East wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 38. East wind 5 to 10 mph.

UPCOMING EVENTS

A Night in the Limelight, Evening of the Arts, is taking place in the Tehachapi High School gymnasium at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday March 20. The public is welcome. Seats are $8 at the door. Children under 5 years old get in free.

Ernest Troost is playing at Fiddlers Crossing at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 21. All seats are $20.

Beyond Sight, a surfing movie with a Christian message, is playing at 4 and 7 p.m. at the Hitching Post Theatre on Thursday, March 20. Tickets are $5 for the matinee showing, and $7 for the evening viewing.

• Tehachapi City Council is meeting at 6 p.m. on Monday, March 17, at the Wells Education Center, 300 S. Robinson St.

• The Tehachapi Valley Recreation and Park District's next board meeting is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 18, at the district's headquarters on 490 W. "D" Street.

• The Tehachapi-Cummings County Water District is holding a board meeting at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 19, at the district's headquarters, 22901 Banducci Road.

• The Golden Hills Community Services District's next board meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 20, at the district's headquarters, 21415 Reeves St.
