Tehachapi Police Department:
Between Nov. 11 and Nov. 17, the Tehachapi Police Department handled 323 incidents. These included 48 traffic stops, 31 vehicle/pedestrian checks and 19 felony or misdemeanor arrests.
Felony arrests as follows:
Roberto Omar Horta, 25, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
Alvo Delshon Stricklin, 38, was arrested on a felony parole hold.
A 15-year-old juvenile was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and being under the influence of a controlled substance.
Brian Rahmond Yearwood, 29, was arrested on a felony warrant for possession of a controlled substance.
Vito J. Spalliero, Jr., 26, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and a felony warrant for transportation of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for sales and an additional felony warrant for possession of a controlled substance.
Bear Valley Springs Police Department:
Nov. 17, 2013
3:46 p.m. Burglary report on Hart Drive. Theft of meds from home. Disposition: Assignment completed.
Kern County Sheriff Tehachapi Substation:
Between Nov. 15 and the morning of Nov. 18, the Kern County Sheriff's Department responded to 40 incidents, including two burglary investigations, the first on Sycamore Drive in Golden Hills and the second on Tehachapi Willow Springs Road.
Stallion Springs Police Department: Nothing reported.
California Highway Patrol: Nothing reported.
This afternoon: Sunny, with a high near 59. South southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.
Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 36. West northwest wind 10 to 15 mph.
Tuesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 54. Breezy, with a northwest wind 15 to 20 mph.
Tuesday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 37. Breezy, with a northwest wind 15 to 20 mph.
A 20 percent chance of showers is forecasted for both Wednesday and Thursday, before skies clear to mostly sunny on Friday. Temperatures will peak in the 50s, while nighttime lows continue in the 30s.

* The next Tehachapi City Council meeting is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 18, 6 p.m., at the Claude L. Wells Education Center, 300 S. Robinson St.
• The Stallion Springs Community Service District Board of Directors is scheduled to meet Tuesday, Nov. 19, at 6 p.m., at 27800 Stallion Springs Dr.
• The Tehachapi Valley Recreation and Parks District's next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 19, at 5:30 p.m. and will be held at 490 W. "D" St.
• On Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 6 p.m., the Tehachapi Valley Healthcare District board of directors will meet at the Golden Hills Community Services District building, 21415 Reeves St.
• The Tehachapi Cummings County Water District will meet at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 22901 Banducci Road.
