Tehachapi Police Department:
Dec. 3, 2013:
10:13 a.m. Unauthorized use of personal info. Occurred at Tehachapi Police Department on East "F" Street. Reporting person states unknown suspect has used her social security number to open up an account with Verizon. Disposition: Report Taken.
11:56 a.m. Petty theft less than $400. Occurred on Miranda Court. Someone stole her Christmas decoration. Disposition: Assisted.
1:38 p.m. Traffic stop. Officer initiated activity at East Valley Boulevard and Snyder Avenue. Disposition: Arrest Made.
2:51 p.m. Major traffic accident. Occurred at Tehachapi Boulevard and West Valley Boulevard. Cellular E911 call: black vehicle hit bicyclist on Tucker Road in front of Del Taco, vehicle still on scene. Disposition: Assignment completed. NOTE: Minor injuries to adult bicyclist. Refused medical treatment.
9:14 p.m. Peace disturbance music. Occurred on Chaparral Lane. Disposition: Arrest Made.
Bear Valley Springs Police Department:
Dec. 3, 2013:
7:46 p.m. Theft of mail occurred on North Lower Valley Road. Disposition: Report Taken.
10:46 p.m. Occurred on Pinedale Drive. Service Class: RESD. Neighbors on roof. Disposition: Report Taken.
Kern County Sheriff Tehachapi Substation:
Between Dec. 3 and the morning of Dec. 4, the Kern County Sherriff's Department responded to 21 incidents, including a petty theft investigation, theft investigation and a trespassing investigation. All were in Golden Hills.
Stallion Springs Police Department: Nothing reported.
California Highway Patrol: Nothing reported.
Today: A 20 percent chance of snow showers. Mostly sunny, with a high near 38. Light southwest wind becoming west northwest 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.
Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 21. West northwest wind around 10 mph.
Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 35. West northwest wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
