Sept. 3, 2013
9:20 a.m. Warrant service occurred at Tehachapi Police Department. Arrest made.
9:47 a.m. Missing juvenile report occurred on Maple Street. Her grandson did not go to school and she does not know where he is. Possible in Bakersfield or Tehachapi. She has telephone contact on Saturday said he would be back but has not returned. Language barrier. Report taken.
5:00 p.m. Pedestrian check on West “D” Street. Arrest made.
5:31 p.m. Burglary report occurred on West “J” Street. Past occurred trailer was broken into. Empty trailer-nothing stolen. Assignment completed.
9:39 p.m. Pedestrian check on North Curry Street. Arrest made.
10:05 p.m. Driving under the influence occurred on West Tehachapi Boulevard. Possible has been drinking subjects trying to get into their vehicles to drive off. Subjects were combative when asked to leave. Arrest made.
Bear Valley Springs Police Department:
Sept. 3, 2013
4:39 a.m. Suspicious circumstances occurred on Skyline Drive. Male went to station 16 and reported a rotting smell in the area. Unable to locate.
Kern County Sheriff Tehachapi Substation: Nothing reported.
Stallion Springs Police Department: Nothing reported.
California Highway Patrol: Nothing reported.

Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 63. West northwest wind around 10 mph.
Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 88. West northwest wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
Thursday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 63. West northwest wind 10 to 15 mph.

• Due to a lack of agenda items, the Tehachapi City Council will not hold its regular meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 3, but will instead adjourn until Monday, Sept. 16, at 6 p.m. in the Beekay Theatre, 110 S. Green St. One item to be discussed is a proposed spending plan for funds received by the city under Government Code section 30061, the Supplemental Law Enforcement Services Fund.
• The Tehachapi Unified School Distrcit Board of Trustees will meet at 6 p.m. on Sept. 10, at the Claude Wells Education Center, 300 S. Robinson St.
• Directors of the Bear Valley Community Services District will meet at 6 p.m. on Sept. 12, at the CSD building, 28999 S. Lower Valley Road.
